Loris Rouiller (Heizomat-Kloster Kitchen) received the C1 elite males’s contest at Virginia’s Blue Ridge GO Cross in a three-rider dash to the road in Roanoke, Virginia. Anton Ferdinande (DHM) completed second and Andrew Strohmeyer (CXD-Trek Bikes) settled for third.

The conflict of the highest contenders to start the US Cyclocross Sequence (USCX) light away as males’s defending collection champion Curtis White (Steve Tilford Basis Racing) couldn’t match the tempo of the youthful trio on the rolling course and completed seven seconds behind for fourth place. Vincent Baestaens (Spits CX season), who received 5 USCX races final season, completed fifth, 28 seconds behind White, who made his first look within the stars-and-stripes jersey.
